Wendy Wittrock – Operations Manager

Wendy has been involved in the solid waste industry since the purchase of the Cass County Landfill in 1992 by the Cass County Environmental Control Agency. She was appointed to the Environmental Board as the Secretary / Treasurer in 1992 and became the on-site manager in March 2003. Wendy has been a DNR certified landfill operator since Spring 2003 and a Household Hazardous Waste Technician since the Fall of 2005.

Brandi Hansen – Scale Operator – Household Hazardous Waste Technician

Brandi was hired as a part time scale operator in the Spring of 2003 and accepted a full time position in June 2005. She completed her DNR certified operator course in the fall of 2006. Brandi has helped establish the Household Hazardous Waste program for Cass County residents and is the Lead Technician for the Household Hazardous Waste Regional Collection Center since receiving her training in the Fall of 2005.

Robert Richert – Certified Landfill Operator

Bob was hired in September of 2002 and has worked as a truck driver, mechanic and equipment operator for the Cass County Landfill. He completed his DNR certified landfill operator course in the Spring of 2004.

Jesse Schmitt – Certified Landfill Operator

Jesse was hired in April of 1996 and has worked as a scale operator, truck driver, mechanic and equipment operator for the Cass County Landfill. He completed his DNR certified operator course in January 2007.

Jamie Stokley – Certified Landfill Operator

Jamie was hired in April 2007 and completed his DNR certified landfill operator course in January 2008. He has worked as a truck driver and equipment operator for the Cass County Landfill and has completed his training for a Household Hazardous Waste Technician.

Gerald Peck – Part time Employee

Gerald started with the Cass County Landfill as a part time laborer in July 2002. He continues to sort the recyclables and do general housecleaning at our facility.
